About Us

The Gulf Coast Military Mardi Gras Ball Committee is an all-volunteer organization comprised of active duty military members and civilian employees on the Gulf Coast. Our goal is to provide a venue for active duty and military guests to experience the uniqueness of Mardi Gras during their tour of duty on the Gulf Coast. Every year we work hard planning the big event; working out contract details for catering, music, reception location, and  fundraising events to ensure a memorable celebration for all our guests. The Gulf Coast Military Mardi Gras Ball is operated under the Morale, Well-Being and Recreation of U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile. The committee is open to all Active Duty and Retired Military Members and dependents, Civilian Employees, Government Contract Employees, and other sponsored guests.
